Ok so first things first… if you ever come to a small town and the options are not plentiful, but you expect to be in and out… this is not fair to the small business. When we arrived there were only 4 people sitting at tables, when we left there were over 20. Yes the food took a while to get out. Bank on 30 mins at least to receive your food. The service from staff was awesome. Remember that they are only a couple of young’ns. They did a great job. We are from Toronto and this place is away from all the hustle and bustle, but we were very happy to have dinner here. Food was great, beers were plentiful and the atmosphere is that of a family owned restaurant. My family and I enjoyed the food. I had the Angie’s Nor’easter burger which is a must… just a good change from all the seafood if you are looking for that. My wife had the chicken wrap and kids had fingers and another burger. You won’t be disappointed eating here, but timing will be everything as it will get busy. There is a some Construction in the are and once they are done work, they all come here to eat. Get here slightly before 5pm and you should be good ;) Look, if you are coming here be patient, be kind and be grateful that you have a family that is willing to feed you when other places are closed in the area. Mondays and Tuesdays seem to be hit or miss with availability. This place wasn’t and I would eat here again!

Great service. Carrot Cake, the best I ever had. Family owned bussiness opened during the summer months. Can get a variety of local fish dishes. Very friendly service. Seating is limited. Will differently return. Thank you.

Local Maritime comfort cuisine. I had the best seafood chowder chock full of fresh from the ocean. My husband had an old fashioned turkey dinner. The wait staff were attentive. For such a remote area, this was a great find.

Had breakfast and coffee. The wrap was good. My wife had the biscuit with egg and had processed cheese and sausage patty which looked like it was frozen. Pretty average. Service was super friendly and attentive. Great reception and local tips.

Came here on a Monday in September 2021 because this is the only restaurant in the area that's open early afternoon. It's a relatively small dining area with 20 seats spread over 4 tables, but they do offer takeout as well. There was only one person working front of house, so it was a bit of a wait to be seated (since she had to manage other tables and clean up the fourth table) and order, but she was very pleasant and friendly. We ordered the jalapeno poppers [tasty], onion rings [average], chicken wrap platter [good, and on special for $13.95], and the Nor'easter [very tasty, as the waitress promised, I was not disappointed lol]. Overall this was a solid meal, and I'd recommend coming here, especially because it's the only restaurant open midday on Monday in the area.

Service was amazing, food... I don't even know where to start. We got mussels, seafood chowder, and the daily soup. The mussels were perfect. The daily soup was wonderful. The CHOWDER. The chowder was something else. Let me tell you I nearly cried when I finished it. I would drive the 21 hours and 10 mins again JUST for the chowder. If you are in the area, and you don't stop... You have made one of the worst mistakes of your life. Unfortunately I made it through my entire bowl of chowder before my wife could take a photo of it, so here's the mussels instead!

While cycling the Cabot trail and staying at the Highlands Hostel, it was recommended that we eat here. Its a very small place, with a down home kind of feel. Food was amazing and service was very good. Had never had a Hot turkey sandwich before, but I am glad I tried it, it was very tasty.

Great food! We were very happily surprised as didn’t have any expectations in particular but it was all very good and homemade. We had the lobster sandwich and vegan chili, as well as homemade biscuits and cinnamon roll. Recommend all! Service also nice and attentive
